Choir Auido

Walkthrough and Reference

Monitoring

  • Aviom connected with a wedge monitor via a 1/4“ cable
  • ONLY KEYS AND LEAD VOCAL this will help with feedback. Do NOT put choir in it.

Mic Placement

  • Use 1 or 2 - SM137 (or PG81)
  • Place ⅓ from each side (or in the middle if using 1)
  • Aim down from above 2/3 of the way back

EQ

  • High Pass - Start around 160Hz and use your ears to dial in exactly where it should land. It should keep the bass, kick, and other low end out
  • Low Pass - Start around 8kHz and dial it in from there. You may need more or less depending.
  • Others - Use other filters to eliminate feedback
