Lay of the Land

List of the major Audio components and their locations:

  • Stage Boxes - Various locations on the Stage
    • XLR inputs - labeled to match console labels
    • Aviom - Cat5 sockets to drive Avioms
  • Input Gear
    • Mics, Cables, DIs, Worship Wireless Mics - Stage Right under the screen
    • Wireless Handhelds, Beltpacks - Production Booth rack drawer in corner
  • FOH Power - Bottom of the rack below audio console
  • Control System Touch Panel - FOH and Production booth

Startup

  1. Press “Power” button on FOH Power battery backup (near floor under console)
  2. After console boots up - Load your scene
    1. BARRACKSROW - Church or Large Bands
    2. Small Show - Small Groups, Prayer Nights, Q/As, other small events
    3. CR - Celebrate Recovery
  3. Unmute PA - Control System Touch Panel

Shutdown Mute PA - Control System Touch Panel Properly Power down Console - Press “Utility” button - “Power Down” on screen - “Power Down Surface” on Screen - Power Button on FOH Power Replace Dust Cover Clear Stage - Put away all mics, cables, DIs, and stands

Routing Inputs iMac Input - “MINI” Headphone Jack - “⅛” ” Wireless Mics Handhelds - Hand1, Hand2 Beltpacks - Belt1, Belt2 Worship Handhelds - WRLS1, WRLS2, WRLS3, WRLS4 Tracks - 8 tracks channels via Dante from Chris Channel Strip Select - Located above the fader. Selects channel for further operations Press before taking other actions Gain - Top left of the Console Turn down if red “Peak” light illuminates on channel EQ - Center Left of the Console 4 bands adjusted by Gain, Frequency, and Width (Q) Compression - Center of the Console Adjusted by Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, Hold, and Gain Fader - Divided into 2 banks of 4 layers each DCAs - Control level multiple individual channels Drums - Control all drums (colored Yellow) Vocal - Control all vocals (colored Red) **excludes handhelds/beltpacks Inst - Controls all Instruments (colored Green) FX - Controls all Effects Returns (colored Purple) Outputs Klang Standard Inputs - Pre-Routed (should cover 95% of needs) Additional Needs - Use “Klang” Aux by pressing the “Mix” button and increasing the faders of the desired inputs Avioms - Route 16 available channels via “Output” screen FX/Surrounds - Right Bank, Layer B Mix FX “Ip” using the “Mix” button “Surround” Aux sends to cinema surround speakers - Mix using “Mix” button
